This Week in BS, we try to record the show. But as they say, if at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try, try, and try again. We finally get the show done, after several audacity crashes. We spend a lot of time on voting machines, and how your vote is not going where you want it too. Then, we spend too much time on twitter, and talk about how Linux and Microsoft Fails. All this week, on TWIBS.

TWIBS – 04: School House Rock Please

August 21, 2009

This Week on TWIBS, we serenade your ears with a news segment that only takes half the episode, a true accomplishment if I do say so myself. We then talk to you about the BS in the current education system, and get into oodles of rants. I then ask our listeners to buy me a phone, but now I would like a specific microphone instead. We then take some of your listener mail, or hate mail as the case may be. All this week, in TWIBS.

TWIBS – 03: My Cat Named Lunch

August 17, 2009

This week in BS, we begin our third episode, making this the second longest running show on this currently unnamed network. We go over seven gut wrenching, poo brown, news stories, and comment on some of your listener feedback. We abandon ship half way through, and get attacked by massively small fist sized cats, and realize our fail. All this week, in BS.

“You know New Jersey also has the highest graduation rate and second highest money spent per student in the US (where utah ranks 50th lol). Surprisingly though Utah makes the top 10 or 15 in graduation rates. I am totally pro-nuclear! Sure we should make as much energy as we can by hydro, solar, thermal, etc… but we are totally ignoring nuclear because it is supposedly too dangerous? Wonder if NJ gets a lot of it’s money for school from nuclear energy? Nice research question for anyone who gets board ;)”

TWIBS-02:We Really Don’t Swear

August 7, 2009

This week, we cover 15 crappy news stories, giving a disproportionate amount of time to the failed status of copyright law, and Leif complains far too much about apple. Will Google own your soul? Finally, see the fail that we call the end of the show, this week on TWIBS!

01-SyFy is BS

August 3, 2009

This is it, episode one, it all goes downhill from here.  We start off with the news, and then we discuss the current state of Scifi, or should I saw SyFy.  In particular, we give our love to Doctor Who.
